Climate & Energy Reference Group
The Climate and Energy Reference Group is tasked with leading policy development on climate, greenhouse gas emissions and energy-related issues impacting the resources sector.
Projects & Issues
- Promoting the need for a national framework for greenhouse gas emission reduction and ensuring policy mechanisms promote access to lowest cost abatement
- Advocating for clarity of and removal of duplication for greenhouse gas-related approval requirements
- Advocating for efficiency improvements to Commonwealth reporting scheme (National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting System)
